The final program has been announced for the annual UC Davis Aviation Noise & Emissions Symposium. In 2024, the symposium will take place in Palm Springs, California from March 4-6. According to the website, the event is dedicated to the mission of reducing noise and emissions from aircraft. I will be among the speakers, discussing the health effects of aviation noise. My talk is based on a presentation I gave at the Acoustical Society of America meeting in Nashville, Tennessee in December of 2022.
This symposium is one of the most important meetings in the United States, and possibly the world, about aviation noise and air pollution. If any of the Quiet Coalition’s readers will be attending the meeting, please introduce yourself to me in Palm Springs. I look forward to seeing you there!
