The UK Noise Association, whose slogan is: “Campaigning for action against noise,” has published a lengthy manifesto about noise.
“In a series of short papers we lay out what can be done to tackle noise. Our focus is on solutions. Generally noise is a problem with solutions. We set out measures governments and local authorities can implement,” according to the Association’s website.
The papers cover the three forms of transportation noise, neighbor noise, community noise, background music, drones and air taxis, and includes a link to last year’s House of Lords report on noise pollution.
The only other manifesto I am familiar with is the Communist Manifesto, also published in London in 1848. I hope the Association’s noise manifesto leads to peaceful and quiet revolutions in the UK and around the world.
